Head Doctor of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department

MUDr. Horáček, Ph.D. graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine in the Charles University Prague. He gained his specialization in the field of neurology, physiotherapy, balneology and medical rehabilitation. He had internships in the USA in the Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston at Wayne State University Detroit. He worked as a houseman at the Neurological Clinic of the University Hospital in Motol and further as outpatient neurologist.

Doctor Horáček worked as a Head Doctor at the Clinic of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at II Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague and at the University Hospital in Motol where he has been the Head Doctor since 2010. Since 2011 he has been working as a Head Doctor of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. He is a member of professional and scientific organizations and he is engaged in extensive publishing activities.

  • 1976 –1982 Faculty of General Medicine of the Charles University (General Medicine field)
  • 1985 specialization of the 1st degree in Neurology field
  • 1995 specialization of the 2nd degree in Neurology field

  • Since 2011 he has been working as a Head Doctor of the Rehabilitation Department at Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun
