It is performed to patients with damaged hip joint by primary or secondary arthrosis. Part of the surgery is preoperative examination, X-ray, indication, surgery with potential computer-guided implant placement, ensuring postoperative blood derivates, ensuring antibiotics after surgery, stay in bed at ICU, usually 7-day hospitalization with postoperative rehabilitation, ensuring prevention of trombembolism, postoperative X-ray.

There is a choice between a cemented or non-cemented endoprosthesis. According to the recent studies, more than 96 % of the joints will be still functional after 15 years.
